Everyman should have some essentials in the suit section in his closet. A grey suit, a navy suite, and a three piece suit. I prefer them to be skinny suits as opposed to slim-fit. I have found some unique stores that will keep you dashing for any occasion.
THE SUIT SUPPLY
Recently I found a gem in Washington, DC's Georgetown area called the Suit Supply. This store will equipt any man for his daily work, Monday thru casual Friday. When you experience this magical paradise for the business man, you will think that you landed in a Tommy Ton universe. As far as prices go I will rate this store $$$_$1/2. 3 and one half dollar signs out of four. They have everything from ties to shoes.
TOPMAN
The other suit gem is just as impressive and will have skinny suits for the 60's lover in you. Topman is generally geared to the 18 to 30 age group and is rated $$ to $$$ 3 dollar signs. Suits may range from $200-$500 dollars. The only concern with Topman is that some of their suits are made with cheaper material, such as polyester. I prefer 100% cotton, wool, and linen. Early 2013 Nordstrom added Topman to their young men's department.
J CREW
The Ludlow Suit never fails at J CREW. I love this fit which is slightly more fitted. It is not a skinny suit but a slim fit suit. This style is seen in every season from a chino Spring/Summer and a herringbone Winter/Fall. J Crews suits range from $300 to $400.
